Be once “aesthete”, French, conceited, futile, and carefree, another time tragic, modest, erudite and philosophical. Funny or desperate. Insane, morbid, anarchistic or serene and wise. Spiritual, blasphemous and pious or indifferent. Baroque, romantic and expressionist or traditional, realistic, sober, subtle and pure. Sensual and "intellectual". realistic or abstract. Simple but not simplistic, self-made but not self-seeking, social but not socialist. Never vulgar, always refined, elitist and aristocratic. Narcissistic by my artistic nature, but useful also for the others by my wish and my research.
Don’t let you decrease or destroy neither by my weakness and my pessimism nor by art dominating our time. Despise the vision of a disgust of life, its banality, and its ugliness. Be lucid and strong vis-à-vis with ideological handling and totalitarian pressures. Resist the corruption by success. Be independent, free … at all costs!
Be creative! Exalt me and exalt others! Let you admired sometimes, be disturbing and “outsider” generally. Win your chance to be exhibit in the galleries and to be reproduced in the books. Tell my roots and my itinerary: Slavic, European and American. Present my values.
Visualize my obsessional search for freedom. Express my life and my quest to make it significant. Be my trace. Remains present in my memory and my life! Don’t leave me. Enable me to be creative, by you and thanks to you. Be the proof of my faith in art and its justification. Photography.
